Imagine a time when you were alone and seen the most frightful storm in your life. The clouds dark, and incredibly threatening. So dark in the midst of a day, that it was difficult to even see things just several yards away. The rumbling of thunder and the air seemingly being pulled up, out and away that it nearly takes your breath away. The wind blowing so strongly at times that the trees nearly were bent so far that they may snap.
Years ago, and for some duration, I thought I was alone. I went through and was still going through what I called a Perfect Storm. I felt lost, abandoned, unworthy, and alone. I felt as if I had failed at everything, and everyone including my Creator. I thought I lost everything and just about everyone. The evil one tried to fill me with sorrow, regret, and shame.
We must realize, as I eventually did, that as a Christian, we are not alone. That He is with you, and asking you to take a step out of your metaphorical “boat” and look to Him and, yes, metaphorically “walk on water” Not to look to the left, the right, and certainly not back. To seek Him, to walk to Him, and to walk with Him along with the fellowship of true believers. Allowing Him to walk you to shore. I did, and everyone one can. For with God All Things Are Possible.
