Ikigai – A Japanes concept meaning “a reason for meaning”.  Everyone according to the Japanese has an Ikigai.  Finding it often takes a deep and often lengthy look at one’s self.

Have you found your purpose?  What is your purpose?  Do you live with intention?

Each day I get up, I know I have a purpose.  I try to arise in optimism for the gift that God has given to me for the day. A purpose to take care of my body, mind, and spirit.  I have a purpose to grow, to improve and to provide and teach my children.  My drive and goal is to make a positive impact at my work, in my community, and the lives of others.  I am a proud father of three amazing children.  My purpose as a father is to love them unconditionally, teach them, provide for, and nurture them.  To me there is no other priority more important than doing my best to be the best father I can be, and introduce them to our Heavenly Father.

We all should either know we have a purpose or seek to discover our purpose.  We were all made by God and He wants a relationship with us.  Our eternal purpose should be to seek to please God, our Heavenly Father.  In pleasing Him, we are to serve others, learn, teach, and grow closer to Him.  Being a Christian, one of our purposes are to be more like Jesus.  To be merciful, thankful, kind, generous, and ambitious.
